U14 Girls vs 7s tournament

It was an early start for the U/14 girls on a wet grey morning at Okehampton. We only had 6 girls available to play, but we were fortunate to borrow players from other teams.

Our 1st game against ISCA Dragons, showed that the girls were able to work well together. They had a few chances in the attacking circle but unfortunately were unable to convert any into a goal. Ending the match with a draw. In our 2nd match, Exeter played well and kept our girls on their toes, while North Devon showed improvement in moving the ball and keeping our formation. In our 3rd match, against Ocean City we dominated the game and kept their keeper busy, but they defended very well. In our 4th game against a strong ISCA Demons, we started well and with great movement and passing we converted an early chance. We kept on fighting through out the match but finished on the losing side.

Well done to the girls today, you kept playing and all though there were quite a few defending short corners, the opposition were unable to score.
